1. Information We Collect

At TrustUp, we prioritize your privacy and collect only the essential information needed to provide our services securely:

• Account Credentials: When registering, we collect only your name, email address, and account password. Account creation requires users to be at least 15 years of age.
• Public Testimonial Data: When end-customers submit feedback through your public Space links, we collect their name, rating score, review message, and optional email address.
• Temporary Anti-Spam Data: We collect temporary IP addresses solely for abuse detection and spam prevention. These IP logs are not stored permanently.
• Device Fingerprinting: When creating feedback Spaces, we process a temporary device fingerprint from the user's browser to prevent space owners from submitting self-reviews to their own spaces.

2. Avatars, Brand Logos & Public Display

Creating an account on TrustUp does not require a profile picture—we generate an avatar for you automatically. When creating a Space, you can optionally upload your brand logo; if you choose not to, an avatar will be generated for your Space instead.

Similarly, end-customers submitting a review can choose to upload a picture if they wish, or simply use an automatically generated avatar. Profile photos and brand logos are completely optional for everyone, and there is no obligation to upload one.

While end-customers may provide their email address when submitting a testimonial, customer email addresses are strictly private and are never published publicly on embedded widgets or customer-facing review pages.

3. Data Ownership & Storage

All published testimonials, spaces, and widget contents are served directly from TrustUp's secure internal database once approved in your dashboard. We do not fetch or rely on third-party review platforms to serve your feedback.

You retain complete ownership of all data collected through your account. We never sell, trade, or rent your personal or business data to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies & Analytics

TrustUp does not use third-party tracking scripts, advertising networks, or invasive analytics tools. We utilize only essential session cookies and Anti-CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) security tokens required for user authentication and dashboard security.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You have full control over your personal data. You can permanently delete your TrustUp account directly from your account settings at any time without submitting a manual support request.

Upon account deletion, all associated Spaces, collected testimonials, and review settings are permanently and instantly erased from our database.
